Yesterday my masters thesis advisor visited me here in Maine and we went on an adventure through the wilds of "Downeast" Maine. I only could carry my small point-and-shoot camera with me into the field, so sorry for the low quality of these pictures, but they are the best I could get in the conditions.
Posted below are two pictures of the carnivorous "Pitcher Plant" which is considered to be a rare plant to find in the wild. Nearby there were also some "Sundews" which are another carnivorous plant, but I couldn't seem to get a decent picture of them. Maybe next time!
